U-shaped forming of a sheet metal strip

This forming system serves to produce U-shaped sheet metal, which can be wound directly from the coil.

The coil is loaded by the worker into an unwinder by means of an existing loading device and manually clamped. After feeding the strip material into the NC-controlled roller feed it is possible to manually cut off the start of the strip and activate the automatic process. A control panel is used to enter the desired unit quantity and strip length of between 400 mm and 2000 mm.
