Flaring of stainless steel tubes

This system serves to flare stainless steel tubes.

Radiant panels from aluminium are connected with stainless steel tubes in order to achieve optimum thermal conductivity.

Following manual insertion the force-controlled pressing of the fins takes place, whilst the mandrels simultaneously drive into the stainless steel tubes. After reaching the end position the mandrels are hydraulically spread, in order to flare the tube. The spread mandrel is now withdrawn with simultaneous lubrication. The lubricant is collected and fed back to the unit. The spreading strength can be adjusted via a stop.
